AWOS Data Integration
A single interface replaces all individual AWOS and ASOS interfaces, providing a centralized view regardless of vendor.
•Vendors will transmit their data to the platform’s FTP server.
•Each vendor will have a dedicated FTP directory for data transmission.
•ADIS microservices continuously monitor vendor-specific FTP directories.
•Processed data is then forwarded to the Central Database Service
AWOS Replacement
A central server per airport replaces individual servers at each runway, with a single interface managing all stations across airports. This significantly reduces IT burden and maintenance costs.
•NGA², our Next Generation AWOS & ASOS Server, will get the data directly from the sensors with TCP/IP or any other communication channel (Radio, API…).
•NGA will apply all AWOS processing according to ICAO guidelines (Annex 3, 10, Doc 9766…).
•Processed data is then forwarded to the Central Database Service.
